yeah !! i mean i get that we should turn our brains off when reading stuff like this but there’s a limit TT but idk, maybe i’m being too harsh rn because i did just finish an mpreg CN novel where the author clearly did their research. the premise actually had internal logic and felt believable, even tho it wasn’t perfect. at least you could really feel the effort they put into the writing.

Exactly. I also just felt like there were so many cool plot points the author could have delved into had they really understand the scope of the situations they put the characters in. The stakes, tension, and character development would have been so much stronger if the author utilized the health crisis better.
The moment this had became mpreg is the moment science went out the window. The author could have made the bottom intersex which would have been more understandable than a hidden womb? Should of follow the deliverance of the counterattack

girl, no worries lool i get why your pissed T.T yes it’s fiction but i guess my standards for mpreg plots is now higher since i have read a number of stories where the authors tried to ground things with at least a bit of internal logic or pseudo-science.
also, you can’t compare it to omegaverse. in omegaverse, the biology is already established as part of the universe rules, so readers know what to expect. it’s not the same as real-life human anatomy which this manhwa uses.
buuut yeah !! again, it’s still fiction at the end of the day and we’re only really expressing our opinion. no hate towards the author, the story overall is a solid 8.5 in my book !! would be a 9.5 if the mpreg element had been explained or established a bit better (the other -.5pt is because of the flow of conversations could be better also )

lol, I’m also a nurse. Fiction is fiction, but it doesn’t mean you get to ignore logic. Yes, a man getting pregnant is impossible. However, I’m judging this story for lazy research and kinda just bad story telling. If people disagree with that it’s fine, but the author kinda threw normal society out of the window.
Like, MC is so shocked he got pregnant, meanwhile the whole world around him don’t even take 2 seconds to question it, lol.
I like the story and the concept, but the medical side was impossible to ignore. I’m a nurse and the pregnancy made no sense. His lungs should have started struggling around six months, not eight. At eight months the baby isn’t premature enough to justify fighting for two more weeks. A deeply attached placenta would have been seen long before delivery. And a three week ICU stay would leave anyone barely moving, not walking around like nothing happened. If the author wanted him to recover that fast, he should have been in the ICU for a few days, not weeks. There was so much potential here, but the story kept using real medical terms without respecting how any of it actually works.
