Yeah but he KNEW that what he was saying was the truth so denying it would just make him a liar. He doesn’t want to lie but he’s stuck in an impossible situation. His old crush tried to kiss him (idk if they actually touched lips or not) and his loving bf saw it but he’s over his old crush now. He was pushing him away and his thoughts were ONLY about jiho. Jiho was being incredibly unfair to woohyun because what does he say? Lie and say he never liked jio and create more issues for their future when jiho can’t trust woohyun to be honest about his feelings about other people OR be honest here and hope that jiho understands that this is something jio did on his own to create chaos. Those are his two options and BOTH rely on jiho to be understanding. Woohyun probably doesn’t view jiho as understanding since jiho pushes boundaries a lot and pulls back a lot. It’s tough. Jio sucks
Sorry, deny was a bad term to use. What I meant was more like for him to say that he doesn’t feel that way anymore towards Jio anymore and that there is something more between them then when they first started out. But yeah, the whole situation sucks and Jio sucks for doing that to them. Jio’s feelings seem so insincere toward Woohyun, he seems more of a user. Hopefully we get a sweet confession between Woohyun and Jiho without the alcohol.
I agree that he should have said SOMETHING but I don’t think jiho was in the frame of mind to listen and honestly I wouldn’t either and I’m a HUGE believer of talking things out. I’d need 5-10 minutes to calm my mind down before sitting and having that conversation but jiho isn’t even open to that. Anything woohyun could have said would sound like an excuse and honestly it would be exactly like what cheaters say when they get caught. “I don’t like him like that anymore!” “He means nothing to me!” “YOURE the one I love not him!” It’s all very excuse-y. I know it’s not but we are omniscient readers who see everything from above with all context unless the author is a mastermind and they’re puppeteering us. That’s why we can see the solution but if we were living this situation, it would be a lot harder to know what to do.
Even though Jiho said some nasty things I think he was waiting for Woohyun to deny it and say something. They were being so cute and now I’m bummed.
