No that’s my feelings as well everyone seems to be mad at him when he thinks he’s being manipulated cuz he doesn’t have the whole story. The fact he denied the paternity test was dumb tho. (Your English is really good 0.0)

TO ME (my opinion) everyone is just morally grey to me. Like because this is the daughters pov we dislike the father.
But like imagine that after the war you and your love of your life finally wanted peace and start family. Out of nowhere you partner ALMOST kills you says some slurs and disappeared. Like wtf. Ofc u would be heartbroken and would be depressed, betrayed. You would not believe in love anymore. Since you have the ability why not lock your emotions.
And that mother is also bit selfish but I get it. You don't your partner to see you die. But if only she told her friend and her partner about the curse, he wouldn't have locked his emotions at least. He could've been good father/person that constantly thinks about his dead wife.
