a huge responsability

Hi, I'm a nurse working in a unit with people with spinal chord injuries. I really love this manga, it's good even in the medical aspects (the fact about pressure ulcer is true... even if the place in wich the ulcer came when you stay too much on the wheelchair is different).
I also wanna say something about not stay with a person after he became paraplegic. it's a very heavy decision and responsability and if you are young sometimes you can't take that. It's a life long commitment and, BELIVE ME, it's really difficult. You have to manually pull pee and poo out every day (pee every 6 hours), you have to check the skin every day, wash the body all over everyday, you can't have sex in the normal way and so many other things.
in this case it was the boy who was against it, but anyway...
true love is a beautiful word but reality of love is make of compromises and sometimes you choose a different life, IT'S SOMEONE RIGHT CHOOSING
I will stay with my husband, but I don't wanna judge people who don't. Please understand.

PS: it's more "disturbing" for me reading someting like "I could not fall in love with a disabled person"... like...WHY NOT? You may have not the will to dedicate your life to them, but tohey are lovable just like any others, nothing less.
