Nah. I love it. One of the best age gap story prolly. His thought process is reasonable. His concerns are relatable. His parents didn't really accept him. Is father beat him to pulp. He cares for ml so much so he doesn't want him to experience any of those. I don't really like saying things like this but I think y'all don't get him cuz half of you aren't gay or closeted. I'm not closeted, in fact my family don't care much Abt it but imagining me in his position and my parents like his parents... Nope... I'd def leave devastated too

THIS. omg I've known queer friends who had similar family situations. some of them just had that rooted fear instilled in them js like uke although they're doing much better now, but times back then were hard. it's hard to accept yourself when the family you once loved turned into a 180° and cut ties w you as if you were never their child. The story was good bcs I was drawn to Jiwan, I saw so much of my friends in him, even got teary eyed w the flashback. there's nothing wrong w this story at all, I liked it the most.

Yeah, honestly one of the most relatable stories I have read so far. I’m closeted and my parents are very similar to his so it was kind of comforting to see someone like me portrayed in stories I like to read
