I agree. It was good up till that point chapter 37-38. What a let down or disappointment to the extent I’m not that excited for the adaptation. It is important to me that they didn’t throw the build up away, the whole ‘can’t have sex with another man’ changed and he was able to for a stranger, it was not right.

And I probably didn’t read it properly as I was half asleep, just wanted to skim through again, but Sugiki found out? That is more awful. I only know that the guy that liked Suzuki saw him and Norman doing it.

Did they do it again before performance? What chapter and page mentions Sugiki knowing? I don’t like this whole thing, I hope it isn’t adapted.

I hope author is just toying with us. Perhaps Suzuki will bottom as a “make up” since he hasn’t given that out to anyone . I don’t know what else will make me feel at ease besides him making it up with his butt.

I don’t remember much as I stopped reading for a while, but I believe they separated because neither could bottom for each other (?). This makes sense why Suzuki was easily having first time sex with another man—it’s no different from having sex with a woman (a hole is a hole saying), and he doesn’t want to bottom, so it’s easier for him to fuck Norman who is willing to bottom.

That’s true still tho, this guy’s actively fucking this other guy multiple times atp and they’re basically fuck buddies, and the other one hasn’t. Like, he actually has more of a relationship w the fuck buddy than how the other mc has a relationship w those two random women who aren’t characters. Theres significance and meaning to it that hurts more yknow? Not to say that the other mc was not wrong for fucking w those women, but ya

He didn’t see it but he did find out when he briefly spoke w Norman before the performance. It’s in the most recent chapter actually!

Right. Plus the other one was when he was drunk, no? He was taken advantage of and that sponsor guy of his basically watched him and didn’t stop it.

The other one has more significance because Suzuki never had sex with men before so for him to do it so casually with Norman blew me off. It’s not that the sex itself is wrong, but the timing and all…and how casual he was about that is not it.

I did re read it and yeah, I believe Norman was coming out of his room or whatever—the Suzuki room(?). Oh no..

I don’t believe I have seen it as explicitly as with Suzuki and Norman. The other time when Sugiki did it with women (most recent) was when drunk, and the sponsor guy didn’t stop or anything but watched! I believe he went with the sponsor for Suzuki’s sake.

And for my disappointment, it has more to do with how casual he was about doing it with a random guy after all that while Sugiki was in thar state. For Sugiki, he has always done it with women and Suzuki as well.

If Suzuki had sex with Norman before all that tension, I won’t care. It won’t make me disappointed. The whole reason they both separated was due to internalised homophobia, asumptuous but probably valid thoughts, and top/bottom role disagreement. Suzuki even admits that Sugiki changed his orientation, but he isn’t willing to bottom, nor is Sugiki.

At the end of the day, it’s just how I feel, and I agree with you that both of them slept with someone else. It’s just the sex are different, but I can also see why Suzuki slept with Norman: Suzuki did not have to bottom for Norman.

And neither Suzuki and Sugiki were wrong in sleeping with another, they were not together as far as I’m concerned. I never said they were wrong for it, it’s more of disappointment with the recent chapters. I may have been a bit harsh, but I guess I got too invested in their tension and build up till chapter 38..

Yeah… it’s the fact that they’re both in love with each other that it seems so unnecessary to create this drama and pain. I 100% agree
