Azraq and Yana get to be together in the last timeline; so ultimately, this pain will be temporary. Doesn't change that it hurts, but they do get their happy ending!
They get ther shit together in their last year iirc? and during the summer break they go off to get married, with Yana stepping down as princess to become a commoner. So they get to dance at the graduation ball as husband and wife! And there are a few cute scenes of Oriana worrying about the ball, while talking to Yana, and going "a married woman like you would never understand what I'm going through" lolol
I'll also leave this cute line from the novel here:
"Azraq strongly disliked when Orianna was surrounded by men, since it meant Yana was also surrounded by men. Unlike with his previous role as her guard, Azraq, now Yana's husband, was very possessive."

I'm glad I know how things go in the future or else I'd be tweaking rn. These chapters were so emotionally charged and devastating Oriana and Azraq's parting words, Yana's tears... baby girl didn't deserve that :(
