Hes a herbivore (i think beasts = carnivore)
Beast = half human
That makes no sense in this context as this stories universe ONLY has half-human half-animals. The term beast is what the herbivores call the carnivores in this universe. He has never refered to himself or other herbivores as beasts. Only carnivores.
Hes a beast himself too. He hates himself too.
