There was no official announcement of the reason why they changed the artist. But some said that it was so they can continue releasing chapters after the long hiatus due to the past artist who was presumably either occupied with another project or having health problems...
Awww that’s a shame. I tried looking for the twitter accounts of both the artist and the author but they don’t seem to be very active there. Their last posts were a few months ago
The new artstyle is not bad, its actually pretty. But its just so different from the original style that it doesn’t even feel like the same story. I barely recognise the characters.
