I hate the trope of the inherited kid whose parent comes to get them back. It is OBVIOUS the kid's not gonna leave, it never happens, it's an old trope and i irks me so much omg
The same way yaoi has started normalizing marriage, it has to start normalizing adopting kids. Like, it's okay, you took super good care of the kid while the parent was absent because shit happens but make the kid and the parent have a relationship, to love each other very much, to want to be together... Tjen send them off, mourn their absence, and id you still want a family go and adopt your own kid with the person you love. You can have everything ffs this is fantasy oh gosh how i hate this trope sometimes I didn't expect to be ranting lmao

    Yes!! I was thinking that if Yui did go with her dad, they should just adopt theirs. It would be nice to see children (adopted) outside of mpreg

    IKR?! It's either preg men or deceased / troubled mothers leaving their kids with gay couples. Like. Stop. That's nice and all sometimes but adoption exists. Make it a trope too ;–;

    And if it’s not this, it’s the child they randomly found ending up falling in love with then when it could just be a wholesome father son relationship

    We gonna let them have this one. He wasn’t even at the funeral, didn’t get the “momma didn’t come home”, didnt have to go out and find her body and lay her to rest or give up his career. This man did all the things and he was willing to step aside. He a good man. I was full on blubbering but the rest of them can get the fuck out
