Killing Stalking is also fetishistic, though. I think the story is very well-written, but Koogi wrote it for a fujo audience in mind. Like she didn’t need to draw all those pinups of Bum’s scrawny, abused body, but she did.

I honestly agree. I think the first season is really good, but the rest didn't have the same quality. I don't want to pretend that it's some amazing title, because I'm mostly just sentimental about it (I read it when I was much younger and i've been reading it since the very beginning, when the first season hadn't even been released in its entirety yet). But still the level of the plot is on a completely different level than here. Here I don't see anything other than torture porn.

Yes and I still think it's an inappropriate comparison. The title may be about terrible people who do terrible things, but in Killing Stalking, it's just one of many storylines. Here the story is nothing about rape. If you think otherwise, I'd love to read your opinion.

For sure, I just don’t really agree with people who make fringe comparisons about the two on an ethical level. Not saying you did that, of course, but powerscaling two stories that contain problematic elements is super silly to me. Revenge is a pornographic story which only has plot at the very end. Killing Stalking is much more cerebral and horror-focused. There’s an obvious storytelling quality difference, but Killing Stalking has to be treated as both a serious story, and a problematic one. There’s no separating the two.

God, why does this keep showing up on my homepage? I'm totally disgusted by it and to be honest it scares me how many people must be reading it and actually liking it for it to stay so high up. I've never had a title that disgusted me so much, because the psychological and physical violence is on such a huge scale and it also seems completely pointless. Violence for violence's sake dragged out over so many chapters.
