Everytime we go to MC's flashback and he talks about how he had the feels when a 12 year old talked to him and compare that with the current ML and find them similar, dude..that's not cute. At all. Seriously author. Tf?

nah don't misinterpret. this isn't anything like that, he didn't have any feelings for jaekyoung back then, but he always admired him and thought he was special too. the feelings he expresses for child jaekyoung cannot be compared to any romantic feelings he experiences now or in the future (actually, he doesn't even feel that much for jaekyoung yet. You have to wait for a while before he develops his feelings for jaekyoung).

also, once you get to see jaekyoung's pov, you'll see how VASTLY different their feelings were for each other at the time.

I am going by what the MC said in chapter 18. That when ML paid him a compliment, when he was 12, his heart throbbed and fluttered. If the author didn't want it to be misinterpreted, they should have phrased it differently.

Uhh literally wtf are you talking abt? Pls go back and actually read that chapter (official) because it was never phrased like that, nor was it ever implied that he had any romantic or sexual feelings towards ML as a teenager

You can answer without overreacting. I read that in the unofficial version, I thought it was official because it was well done. In the original version, it doesn't sound much better. In the official version, he said it made him feel warm inside and tugged at his heartstrings. After which he goes on to admire his looks in a poetic way, not like two friends talk about each other. It's not sexual but it definitely sounds romantic which still feels wrong, especially given the context, which is after all a BL.

Hard not to overreact when you're implying borderline pedophilia and btw "tugging at heartstrings" rarely implies romance, its usually used for when something/someone is found cute or endearing.. and is it not normal to admire people with perfect appearances?
Honestly it just sounds like a crazy reach on your part, don't try so hard to make it something weird when its not, even going as far as to attack the author for assumptions you've made yourself.

Lol reach. If in case you missed it, THIS IS A BL. That's the context that has been set up. Reach? For fucks sake. Lol. The scene is between two people who have always been drawn to each other no matter if it was in the past or present. I am not even saying it's sexual, but it's definitely romantic. And not like this genre is so devoid of pedophilic content, so drop the offended act. This readership is so media illiterate and so obnoxious, the moment someone criticises their favourite work even a little bit, they get all up in arms. i didn't even dislike the story, I just pointed out the things that read problematic.
