Am I slow or?? The flow of the story is confusing

How did last chapter go from Sihyeon and Kang hunching to him immediately “drowning” and in a bed shackled and on an IV by the green eyed doctor dude??? This story isn’t even flowing right anymore. I went and reread the end of the previous chapter and it still doesn’t make sense. It’s like the author is leaving out key details/context to panels and is rushing in every chapter of this second season. I’m going to consider the ending of season 1 to be the end of this series…This is not the same story
