Some of the translations are off in Eunhyeoks dialogue so he probably sounded heartless and controlling, but it wasn’t meant to come across that way (obviously). Also, if someone was bad mouthing your friend or the person you like.. You wouldn’t stand up for them? Even if it wasn’t your place??? Idk cause for me, I’d stand up for the people I care about regardless of the situation.

that's the thing- they are no longer friends, in this moment appropriate thing to do would go to her and be like "i heard this and that from him, if you want to do something about it then do" instead of confronting him himself and being all possesive and "oh actually i know her better"
he doesn't have any right to act as her knight in a shining armor and 'protect' her from other dudes. like if you hear someone badmouth a person you know just tell them instead of stepping in yourself if you are not very close AND I MEAN YOU ARE NOT- KISSING SOMEONE ON IMPULSE DOESN'T MEAN TRUE CONNECTION. anyways eunhyuk is just idk atp, i think it was supposed to feel romantic (like yk a protective boyfriend) but for me it reads controlling and not trusting
