they dated in highschool for a couple months. broke up because jiwooks dad had died due to his loaner but he thought it was the ml. the ml went crazy asff and mentally tortured jiwook (still haven’t forgiven him for it). but then the truth came out and jiwook got taken in by the ml to help him heal after a gang rape/beating. the ml killed those guys and after time jiwook fell in love with him again
