There’s no chapter 85 the uploaded just putting it there for next chapter

Is it possible you didn’t actually read chapter 84? If you view a placeholder (such as “ch 84 placeholder”) after finishing the previous chapter (ch 83), then the placeholder becomes the last chapter you read. The title of the chapter (placeholder) won’t show up where it shows the last chapter you read. Only the chapter number will (ch 84).

There are weird exceptions sometimes. But that’s often the case when you can’t find the new chapter.

So basically, I’m trying to say that, maybe you only read chapter 84 placeholder, but haven’t read the actual chapter 84 now that it’s replaced the placeholder.
