Holy fuck the art style and paneling is so good I can’t get over it. Idk but a lot of the time while reading manwhas, the art never sticks out to me. Like I’ll just think “oh pretty” and then keep reading but there’s something about this art that really makes me pay attention to it. The way the artist uses repetitive paneling is so subtle but adds so much impact. It’s hard to do a lot with a format like a scrolling phone screen, but this artist really took advantage of the verticality to make creative compositions

Actually I’m not done lol. The art style itself fits perfectly with the tone of the story and the characters. I especially love the black ragged lineart with the blocked out shadows, it reminds me a lot of traditional comics. The style feels so restrained but holds so much roughness just like the characters themselves, they’re never overly expressive but the expressions they do have are sharp and jagged. The subtley of the art style also lends a lot a maturity to the manhwa which is something I don’t see a lot. I don’t mean maturity as in sex and violence (though the story has a lot of both lol) but in small things like the way the story portrays its characters as kind of unlikeable with self-destructive tendencies. Not a black and white story at all and it’s all conveyed in a very show-don’t-tell manner. I wish the backgrounds had the same care put into them as the characters, but I understand it’s just time constraints and all that. Ok I’m done now haha
