I think he only said Akagi owed him something so Akagi wouldn't run away from him again. He's hoping the 'debt' will tie them together
I disagree. I think he said it to drive Okada or whatever his name was away. He wanted to drive in the fact that they had a special relationship, but in doing so, he frightened Akagi again.
you said u don't want to scare him again, but reminding him of the fact that he owes you something from the past isn't going to help your case you know... even if it was to help him from that opportunist asshole... ╮(￣▽￣)╭
