base on what i've understand in the novel, he rarely sleep with the empress and other concubines. as an emperor, he regard sharing a bed with them as one of his duties, too. however, when his love for yeonbin grew, he does not visit other palace (exclude where yeonbin asked the emperor to do so coz yeonbin feel like it's not right that he's the only one being visited often... it was sad ) but yep! the emperor has a health harem between concubines and empress but the harem is not romantic in context (emperor only loved yeonbin hehe)
the one i said the emperor rarely sleep with others is where before hawoon took over yeonbin's body! coz the emperor did not sleep with anyone but yeonbin when hawoon became hwawoon
