I agree I felt this part in the novel was weird but it does get explained further but also Grayson is just evil in general and I feel like this part just shows us how disgusting he really is and can be.
I honestly hated Grayson the entire time in the novel he pissed me off so bad and he’s so disgusting. Love Chase tho
