The author of this story and Sadistic Beauty are different and only share an illustrator. Unfortunately mangago’s crediting feature is total ass so it incorrectly lists Lee Geumsan as the author instead of Fallnick, the actual mad scientist behind the story.

I wouldn’t say it’s a needle in a haystack at all considering how far BL as a genre likes to push the boundaries in terms of consent. Most explicit BL aren’t like this, because when there is sexual violence, it’s just covered up under the guise of “dubious consent”.
Yes they're normally written with way less straightforwardness, the authors usually make it like U said dubcon and a more rosy light. Imo minghwa is clearly choosing ones that push rape and assault that borderlines physical torture as well tho, and it's not being disguised as anth else

You’re good! The stuff in this manhwa is absolutely heavier and more distressing than what you’d usually see, but it seems that it’s still a popular niche in BL. Personally idk why people who specifically read manhwa that are built on a foundation of abusive relationships and rape get mad about this one just because this abusive relationship isn’t being disguised as something salvageable. It’s like “I can accept rape but I can’t accept gang rape” or sth.
