I agree. I thought his trauma with dogs were like with most people, where he was chased and got bitten by the dog but it became more twisted and diabolical. The author could have come up with a different situation for Chase's trauma.

Oh so that's what happened. I haven't read the novel yet and I kinda want to read it now as to why Grayson did that. But I think there something wrong with Grayson's head for you to come up with something like that and even saying he will fuck his younger brother just to get over a rut.
yeah it's part of the plot in Grayson's story! basically in this universe dom alphas are like worse than psychopaths, they are completely driven by instinct and desire. It's more shown in other stories of the series but none of those have been adapted yet （￣へ￣）
Uhmm idk boo ik the author is tryna go in deep lore and trauma for chase, but does it rlly have to be fcking dogs and cats? I feel like there could be another way to make deep traumatic lore for chase other than that.....
