Coerced maybe, but mind you Dan DID give permission, He knew what the contract entails which was to have sex. (tho in exchange, so again coerced rather than non consensual rape) Was it forceful? Yes, I'm not saying its all full heartedly willing, but It's no different from signing a contract or working for a hostess bar, You may not like it but you DID agree to the terms of it, Knowingly btw.
I love Dan, he shouldn't have treated that way and his sincerity shouldn't have been taken advantage of, but he's a grown man, older than Jaekyung even. So genuinely, other than money problems, he understood what the deal entails.

There were still multiple times he'd scream or yell to stop and it'd be ignored entirely alongside his other requests so unfortunately money doesn't justify that at least not imo consent is withdrawn automatically when someone is begging to stop

And With the hostess bar thing, Idk if you dont know but it isn't as easy as "well I dont like it so I'll leave!" Yes they are doing it for the paycheck, unfortunately ppl who do hit you will pay more or pay big, so unless u were just there for fun and not in dire need of money (which is what situation Dan was in) you'd endure it if it meant u can get out of the situation faster (e.g. Paying loans or debts). That's what true desperation feels like.

Coercion is ok, as long as it's not RAPE. Jaekyung is not the monster for continuing to have sex with Dan who cries and says no. Real rape victims also cry and scream no but obviously Dan's consent can't be taken away, whatever you sign you have written off for the other person to do what he wills even if without that contract it would be rape
So the real victim is Jaekyung.
