I think it's the year Ho began college, and not his graduation year, since he said that he began serving 6 months after he began classes and didn't return to Seoul until recently.
It's the year they started college, in my country it's also referred like that. Me for example, I started college in 2015 so I'm class of '15 or 15' class
So Mr.Ho is class of 2016 right? Like that's the year he graduated? So it means our age is close coz I'm also class 2016 if that's how it is hahaha
