Yes, you are correct but as yamatogirl said, there is no LINEAR plot! We have a main issue going on (mainly hetian leaving for some years because of reasons and jianyi‘s dad being a mob boss) which is being explored once in a while, but it’s mainly just these four and their shenanigans, coming out of age (and also the closet lmao) and their relationship as friends and also lovers.
The revelation is slowly, very slowly being revealed to us. It’s a huge (messy) flashback kinda but we are slowly, reaching up to the point where everything is kinda going downhill - like the time is definitely passing despite all the jumps around the timeline.
I probably just need to reread this, but it feels like the plot isnt really clear. Like it goes back and fourth, as if the author was making it up as they went. Not hating , love the story w all my heart.. it's just confusing at times.
Also xixi is so cute, every time I see him I get hard and wanna pound him till he cries..
