I'm so glad I found this manga. I never once felt so seen when consuming a piece of media with the portrayal of depression. It's not romanticized, it's realistic, it's not a "I can fix you/you can fix me" stereotype where everything is resolved by getting into a relationship. The author puts words into the feeling of depression and explains it beautifully, especially by mentioning that it is different for everyone and there is no "one cure all." I have generalized depression and I was in a heavily depressed state when I was searching for manga/stories with depressed characters to relate to and get depressed with, and finding this just brought me so much comfort. I'm glad I can experience this story with everyone here.
Yes this is a very good depiction of it. I have dealt with this level of depression. The way the author expresses is so good. If shows the awful reality of it.
