Are you talking about both height and appearance, or just one or the other? Because the novel describes them differently than what is being shown by the artist. There’s no denying that their height difference is freaking huge.
Minjo (the MC) is supposed to be a bit taller than average if I’m remembering correctly, slim (but somewhat muscular), and a decently good-looking guy (especially pretty to Chu Gioh) with an above-average dick size and a “weird form of alopecia,” not atrichia.
Meanwhile, Chu Gioh is a monster of an older man of 40 years at two meters, plenty of hard-earned muscles, hairy (chest, pubes, arms, and legs), and even more crass to go along with his massive dick.
Minjo looks (and is) small next to Chu Gioh by comparison, but he’s actually not compared to the average Joe around him.
While I like the overall art style, it definitely doesn’t do the novel justice in terms of how the characters are described. Still, I will just add that I don’t think Minjo looks like a “genuine child,” but that’s my perspective and opinion. Skinny, somewhat short, and small-faced with big eyes doesn’t really equal “child” to me. Youthful? Yeah, definitely that.

If the artist went novel accurate on the MC and ML’s appearances I think it would’ve been better, somewhat more acceptable than what MC looks like now who looks underage jailbait.

Bruh I'm trying to read this because most of the comments are positive but I can't get my head off the fact the uke looks like a genuine kid like how tf do I try to ignore that while reading this (⊙…⊙ )
