I wonder if the smiley pill is a metaphor for Jaeyoung's happy emotions "fizzling out", consumed by something that drowned them, rather than him being drugged at some point. Could be both as well.
I love Seungmin currently. It's clear he has quite the high affection for Jaeyoung, and I really wonder why and when and how this happened. Could've started from his voice, or as a previous fan of the group. Regardless, I hope the reason and outcome of his feelings won't cause Jaeyoung any further grief and that he can actually help him heal from what happened that drowned his emotions.

Do you have a job perchance? Just asking genuinely, cause I have never ever once thought deep of that smiley pill that way. Are you a writer? ( ̄∇ ̄")

Ahah thanks, I'm not a writer xD
I've thought about it while reading the other comments and rethinking about the scene. Nothing related to emotional blocks is ever "simple", and I get the feeling this won't be a lightweight story, so I wouldn't be surprised to see these little metaphors in a form of entertainment (web novels) that's usually lighter/less descriptive (it's not a written text only, so there's little left to imagine compared to a normal novel)

Personally i think the shot on the floor of his with stuff on his face and looking out of it, shots previously of his lips looking abused and sore when he was having a nightmare, are hints of him being drugged or something happening to him. the lack of emotion
