and i don’t want to drop this because it think it’s a beautiful story but hold fuck dude all this unnecessary sexual assault just to get the point that all the mugos actually do care and love him. like we can get the picture without the MC constantly getting sexually assaulted and kidnapped. it’s getting boring and triggering. but this is just my unpopular opinion. i hope you all enjoy this, i think i’ll be dropping it but im sure the ending will be beautiful so i hope y’all enjoy the book!
RIGHTTT OMG like the first instance okay i could let slide but it’s starting to become a frequent thing is it’s starting to get distasteful and overplayed. it’s getting a bit weird which sucks because this truly is a beautiful story with amazing art but idk how much more rape/sexually assaulted scenes i can take. it’s become so normalized in so many of these stories that people are turning a blind eye to it or saying “if you don’t like it don’t read it” which is in fact true maybe i should stop or maybe .. just maybe… let’s stop normalizing it in such a constant way just to get a story plot. how does it not make someones stomach churn to even think of it happening. awareness is okay… but it’s going beyond awareness

i’m so sick of these authors ruining these stories with a rape trope. yes i know other people are into it but i feel like it can genuinely ruin a story plot. you can get to the plot and still make it suspenseful without the unnecessary gang rape. it’s a bit distasteful. the story is amazing and the art is absolutely beautiful. it could definitely do without all of these rape plots. i guess to each its own though seems like the author really enjoys rape/sexual assault.
