It's ironic that you find my comment unbelievable when I actually had the same thoughts as yours here. I find this story well written precisely because it's nothing like a lot of other BL. The nuances of the characters can't be summed up as green or red flags. It's just a story of two people that get held back in their relationship due to their trauma. That said, I despise people who placed all the blame on Dohu because Dohu made a mistake, and just because Juheon is the victim of that mistake, that doesn't justify how he treated Dohu. Both are equally culpable of why their relationship does not work out. Two wrong doesn't make a right.
Their relationship didn't work out bc of Dohu in the first place. This is what he suffered bc of his problem which he needs to address. What Juheon did to him was after their relationship already broke down but all of that (ignoring Dohu, refused to talk) is totally acceptable & justifiable bc he IS the victim of Dohu's mistakes. I'm not fond of blaming any of them bc we as reader understand him more but don't make it as if the mistakes Dohu made didn't hurt juheon so bad he broke down & cried in front of Dohu, but dohu still didn't understand why. 2 wrongs doesn't make a right but one is justifiable, the other didn't make an effort to clear up misunderstanding bc he still didn't understand his emotion.
You can't come up to a person who betrayed by you & goes I love you, you're the only one I want etc etc without explaining anything

Can't believe there's someone in the comments who said other 'criminal yaoi' leads didn't even get miserable as dohu. Like sorry those author didn't even care abt their characters mental health or maybe the leads are already crazy enough to have a criminal as partners bruh.
Why the need to take one side, these guys are grown up. Both feelings are valid. We only can feel sad for them. They both are green flag for each other. But one hurts the other without meant to. We only can follow & watch them sort their own feelings
