That's true but if we are to see this from riftan's pov, that guy has seen her being mistreated by her dad since early one so he really wishes for her to be just coddled up and comfortable. Like agnes said he treats her like protecting a 6year old(￣∇￣")
Like I can see the differing opinions in the comments but bro. As much as Riftan loves and cares for his wife to the point of being so overprotective, he needs to know where to stop. She is her own person and she is capable enough to make her own decisions of what she wants. She can survive her own journeys in this war as seen in earlier chapters.
