The MC’s bff was really the one who would spread bad rumors. His reasoning was that he would isolate him so MC would be dependable on him only since bff was in love with him since they were little.
The mom, such a bad mother!!! She tries to unsubscribe the MC from earth, and ML is the one who saves him by taking the hit. The brother also realizes his mom was in the wrong and evil. Mom ends up in jail, and MC convinces grandpa (or dad) to let his brother compete fair and square for the chair position.
I'm just so scared that this is gonna go to the direction where "protecting you" means "locking you up and never letting you go anywhere" :')
