At a young age, her room was closed off and set with fire as per orders by her father the emperor in hopes of awakening that ability but as you can see it didn't awaken. She miraculously escaped from a closed room blazing in fire only for her father to ask if she awakened the emperor's eye. At that moment, she completely gave up on her father, besides her imprisonment was induced by the second princess who *spoiler alert* was a reincarnated person that read the supposed original story (it wasn't mentioned but implied) that Rine is the protagonist and she didn't like that so she manipulated the emperor using the knowledge.
Anyway, Chapter 103, why is the brother's power different from the novel?? It was supposed to be telekinesis but I guess that's fine, I'll see how it goess..
I want to clarify, Rine did indeed awaken that ability but she didn't tell the emperor since she didn't like being used by the emperor.

Tbh, the bio father doesn't rlly have much of a role in the story. He still thinks that MC will kill herself although he's suspects a bit that she won't, in the end he still thinks it's impossible. At some point, MC returns becoz she needs something but she can't have it becoz emperor is going to suspect something and it will ruin all her plans. I think she steals it or has her brother steal it but I can't rlly remember. Then due to some events, MC revealed her ability and that she was chosen by God(?) as the rightful owner of the throne so she replaces the emperor. He retaliates saying it's treason but MC has some sort of magical proof that she was chosen so everyone wanted to follow her instead of him.
2nd Princess is the antagonist of the story. She has memories of the future. Idk if she reborn regress or reincarnated. It wasn't expressed directly. She is jealous of MC and wants everything that was supposed to be hers. At young age, she schemes, got MC imprisoned, sweet talked or manipulated the emperor, she has an ability to change the weather. She then tried to seduce Tarkan, but failed. At the end, thanks to MC awakening her full potential, she took away or sealed 2nd princess power and imprisoned her.
There's a lot to know at this part.

Nothing says “get ready for unnecessary filler and bad story telling” like pushing what a horribly sad and lonely backstory childhood the protagonist had, only to open the new season with, “but surprise she actually had a loving brother that was never mentioned or foreshadowed who cared for her and she relied on!” This character feels poorly planned, and is poorly executed/introduced and has entirely turned me off to this story. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
