I’m betting the crown prince is her husband reincarnated. And he got his memories back and recognized her as soon as they met. That’s why he made the “You’ll come to love me,” comment and told his younger brother to treat her well until the engagement can be annulled.
I am glad that none of the capture targets are taken with Charlotte and that it wasn’t even because of Rebecca per se. They just see Charlotte for who she is. A spoiled rotten brat who thinks she’s the end all be all.
It is kind of basic using the “reincarnated heroine is now the actual villainess while the reincarnated villainess is now the heroine” trope.
