mc is so ungodly attractive people approach him to use him often, but yeah the more fortunate attract the less fortunate? In real life you can easily find cool groups of people who don’t give af about how attractive you are. Especially if you’re “too attractive” It’s rare for people to have it hard because they’re too attractive. I’m not ignorant to how attractive celebrities have suffered but bffr.
If you’re attractive and have the confidence to be extroverted once (and if you simply try even one time) then you’ll be accepted into most any group. Unless you’re hanging around only rich, fake, & conventionally attractive people.. most people are chill and not weird about stuff like that. And don’t get me started on “how hard it’d be for people to look at you only for your money”..
Okay I wrote stuff but this website is glitchy but basically: I understand where they’re coming from but it’s hard to sympathize with their situations. “Yeah he’s attractive.. but ppl take advantage of that and he’s poor and has a complicated family life.” What lower class person doesn’t? (speaking from experience) the point isn’t that they have the worst lives, it’s not sad pathetic backstory competition, but their struggles are oddly very privileged ones? If that makes sense. MC doesn’t seem angry/sad about how societal standards give him privilege while hurting others, but seems more inconvenienced and annoyed at his situation because it impacts him in a way that annoys him..?

Yeah, it's not like they went through hardship, it was more like they couldn't be what they wanna be..? I don't think that was even the point of the backstory. Just a bit more detail into their personalities and how they became the person they are now. It's interesting and kinda stupid how Heechan always thought that he was alienated but the truth is that everyone just found him hard to approach because of his personality and attitude. Minjae was always a psycho though.
