Right? I can't comprehend what's so bad about having a straight couple in an omegaverse concept because by the end of the day everything is just fiction and won't affect the real world. There's literally a majority of Omegaverse BL's [and GL's] stories across the web and having a refresher such as a straight couple is something you don't see everyday. At this point, it just feels like to me that people just wants to find an excuse to hate on straight relationships if this goes even further
I mean, if it's like that then the concept should be known to only and strictly have all men x men, and in some stretch women x women, but the thing is that there are EXISTING straight pairings in the omegaverse trope seen in mangas albeit used as supporting characters / background characters created by authors so in this sense, straight relationships are OK in the omegaverse trope -- it's just that it's not really delved upon due to the main focus is the BL with the purpose of wanting men to get pregnant as you've said. I never said Omegaverse was for a specific group of people, people can enjoy it even if they're not queer, I'm just saying it's topic is mostly aligned with the interest of queer people. "Like I'm not tryna hate on straight relationships" then comes to the ending part "Proof straight people just like to make everything about them", the point is not making straight people / couple everything about them but that people are complaining that having a straight omegaverse is NOT valid to exist / used in the omegaverse trope as if it's exclusive to only BL / GL when there are in face straight couples used in omegaverse mangas. You said it yourself that a "straight omegaverse where the woman is the omega is just boring as fuck like what the fuck lol" so the concept of straight omegaverse being 'boring' is part of your reasoning on why it shouldn't be even part of the omegaverse trope meaning that it's acceptable but can be read generally anywhere, but not because of it being straight male x female that affects the BL/GL concept. I like it. In my opinion, omegaverse isn't exclusive for only BL and GL as there ARE existence of straight couples in omegaverse but its usually supporting or background characters so I feel refreshed reading this straight couple in an omegaverse trope.
I find it interesting that people want BL to be inclusive in every trope / aspect that's more or less portrayed with straight couples but when a straight relationship dives into things like omegaverse, its met with negativities.
