I think the last panels imply that Adonis (top) saw the stable guy was drugging the horse and turned a blind eye to it. In the hopes of getting injured and getting special treatment from his master. Only for it to backfire a bit because Vincent ended up ignoring/creating distance from the top. Maybe(?)

Am I reading this wrong or did those last few panels imply that the servant made the other guy who was involved in the tripping incident give his own horse some of that stuff on purpose to make it freak out in the hopes that if he got injured the master would take special care of him AND frame that guy to get him fired at the same time??
