I would normally agree on this, except that like with BJ Alex it's not supposed to be toxic anymore after the redemption arc. So the whiplash was from not expecting anything like that anymore.
I'm also not one of the people that complain every chapter, I get the frustration on that too. Criticism should still be allowed though.
Lowk agree bcz Jiwon (Alex) didn't even kiss the mc and waited for him to initiate it at the cafe as I remember but then again the power dynamic between Dan and JK would make Dan be obligated to give in I think?

I had the scenario in my head that Kim Dan could see that JJK really changed and allow his own feelings towards him again. Maybe a little confession from JJK so that he has some time to really think about his own feelings and then it would have been on him to open up to JJK. But I expected JJK to behave in the meantime...

Honestly, I was laughing the complete second part of this chapter.
Thing is, a friend and me did whole theories on how the next chapters will play out and went really deep into it and then this chapter came around the corner and punched us right into our silly faces with the smut lmao
And true, thought he would already be over his Jinx but there is still growth due. Especially with some of his own trauma. And it's probably still too early to address the stories title I guess
