Basically, when Woowon's abusive father died from the incident, has been haunted with nightmares of him. This also caused him to be more clingy and touchy towards Seo-an. In fact, he panics when he's not around...

However, the reason why Seo-an is mad is because Woowon didn't refuse the invitation of the guy who holds the video of Seo-an punching his face (refer to the 2nd season chapter where Seo-an beat someone's face after forcefully kissing Woowon). Part of the fact as to why Wowoon still met up with the mf is because he wanted to do something for Seo-an. And instead, Seo-an sees this as "Wowoon incapabilities" that it is outside of his jurisdiction to care for this matter and there are better things to focused on like confronting his self both from the past and the future.

There is a line that I particularly like, when Seo-an said "you're useless on your own so stop trying to fix anything" I don't like this solely because of the words but the fact that this admonition speaks just how privileged Seo-an is. We all know that his father is also abusive, nonetheless, he had the means to:
    a. therapy
    b. to separate himself from the spatial dominion, the environment of his abuser (hence the golden palace, the penthouse he has)
Meanwhile Wowoon didn't have any of that. He had to bear with everything that he's gone through. He was never given the space to look after himself because he had to live with his abuser and at the same time his idea of "helping" is fixing everything that he can. He worked multiple jobs. He stopped going school etc. etc. This was his and Seo-an's great divide. This is also the reason why he left Seo-an atm because his only means of fixing didn't even fixed anything at all.

I know a lot of people feels like the story has been "dragging" thus far but in my opinion, it is a very crucial aspect of building their individual resolve, their dynamics, especially if they choose to be together for a long run. From the vergmy beginning, Upi-nim (the author) made it clear that their narrative will not be flat or linear just for the sake of romance. In fact, from the earliest chapters—the part when Wowoon took a hint of Seo-an's interest towards him, he said something "I want to relax and accept things for myself but I know that's not the role I meant to play" (ref. to chap 18) We see from this just how far they are in terms of dynamics, that Seo-an has the privilege to pursue him, he didn't need to think of anything. Seo-an's sure of something he wants. Wowoon doesn't know what he wants because he's never even had the privilege to refuse.

p.s. sorry for plugging TMI but if you have questions do not hesitate to ask! (つ✧ω✧)つ
