I think i get why this is called Goodbye Harlequin

At first eichi is the crazy (something) one then kubo fell for him which is the same as Harlequin falling for joker, harlequin tried to be bad since that's what's she thought joker would like while in this story Kubo fell for eichi and tried his best way up to the designing world to met eichi but he also became twisted like how harlequin became crazy.

İ dunno if anyone knows. But harlequin iş the male protagonist of a pantomime theatre called harlequinade. Other members are clown, pantaloon, pierrot, and female character and love interest of harlequin colombine. So the name iş harlequin. Not harley quinn.

Right, and the Harlequinade is an offshoot of the Commedia dell'Arte tradition of Italy, where Harlequin is Arlecchino, a poor mute who dresses in a patchwork outfit, but still manages to outwit Scaramucchi and chop off his head.

I never said that the story bears any resemblance to Commedia dell'Arte, though. I simply pointed out that Cd'A is the origin of the character of Harlequin, who is part of the 'zanni' or servant class. And, from the wiki on Arlecchino, it seems that the progenitor was likely to be a devil character from Medieaval passion plays, which probably had their own origins in nature spirits of pre-Roman Europe and the Middle East.

Apart from the superficial resemblance of both characters being "bedeviled" by each other, I can't really see much connection, but it's only 2 chapters along. (I haven't read the raws.)

One thing which grabbed my eye in the wiki was a reference to the ancient malevolent German folklore nature spirit, the Erlkonig, which was immortalized in a poem by Goethe and set to music by Beethoven. In the poem, a father frantically races by horseback through the woods to a doctor in order to save his dying son as the boy pleads with him to save him from the Erl-king who wants him to join his fairy retinue as they hunt.
