He most likely had orgies with others because he never saw anything wrong with it, and it didn’t seem like or explicitly said by Victor to stop the orgies. It was consensual. So Henry kept on going, and as you said, could also be attention seeking.
They both were messed up and never meant to be together in my opinion.
Ok I finished season 1 and may have an idea of what could have happened between Henry and Victor. From what I read so far, Victor is an unreliable narrator since we thought Henry was the “perfect” boyfriend but then we see he had orgies in his boyfriend house. But something tells me before all this Henry used to be like Heart in which he will devote his time to Victor by giving him flowers, doing chores, etc.. but they will go unnoticed by Victor, (just like with Heart). Victor probably was busy with his work or something and didn’t have time to devote himself to Henry as we see even when Henry is having an orgy, Victor would still be working. Probably at some point Victor even told Henry to scram while he was busy and didn’t even noticed. Then due to loneliness or maybe even to make Victor jealous he started doing the orgies to catch Victor’s attention, even slipping the “Probably” when one of his partners told him to leave. The day Henry died it probably was caused by a carriage but by one or the group of partners he went around with. Dick said the first thing Head did when they woke up was to leave as “he had somewhere to go”. We know that Head has Henry’s memory and the first time we see Head he is in an bloodied alley, in which he prob killed the person or group responsible for Henry’s murder. In conclusion, Victor is dumb as fuck. Just seeing Hearts actions and devotion is proof enough that Henry loved him and still loved him till the day he died. Henry’s actions of course are not excusable but there is something Victor hasn’t told us about the past, and I’m 100% sure it’s because he didn’t see anything wrong with his action, and he believes he’s the complete victim.
