well jaekyung has been holding back maybe that's why he is like a dog in heat. If it was the old jeakyung he would've forced dan to have sxx with him every single day the day they arrived in seoul. I am not justifying his actions tho, i just think it's understandable why he is being like this now
THAT IS THE REASON WHY THINGS SHOULDVE BEEN DIFFERENT! This was the defining moment coz wdym he realizes his feelings for Dan and his coming back to the MMA scene against the main antagonist of this arc??? Whatever his redemption could culminate should've been present and palpable at this very moment. But no. nothing changed. we could get all the foreplay we want but it's not enough to justify any progress he made all these past chapters.

You don't get it. Yes he realized that he has feelings but it doesn't change the fact that he believes he has a jinx. Since this is the fight for his return, this is a big deal to everybody on the team that even Dan is aware of it that he's going to have scx with him that day. And he's on heat (ik, he should have been more slow with this) since he was holding back because he now cares for what Dan thinks (to the point that he is not hurting/rough him during this scx). Realistically this is a progress, a slow progress. It's not like overnight he could change his horny self and not believe on his jinx no more just because he has feelings towards dan.

"Ask for consent" THE TEXT WAS THE CONSENT. Dan knows what the text mean, he literally was aware that at that time Jaekyung would invite him because of his jinx and went to the room. I am not defending jaekyung on this but he can refuse just like what he did in the pool when jaekyung tried kissing him.
I do believe I get it. I didnt mean that he has to disregard his Jinx to acknowledge his feelings for Dan. My gripe is with how it happened. He was doing great in self preservation and respecting Dan but when, in the moment all those shouldve matter, he did what he'd always done before: having his way. if there was even an ounce of importance to whatever transpired the last chapters, he shouldve held back a little more. You said it yourself, he shouldve been more slow with this and thats what Im trying to say. I was not expecting a grand gesture and big 180 change from him but he's approach does not feel that seamless with his somewhat redemption arc a whole lot of chapters back.
If we compare his approach from before, he is wayyyy less aggressive now and that's a progress. Like you said, don't expect a 180 degree change yet because realistically this is how it should be, slow progress. Yes he should've been slow with it but atleast he is not attacking and being aggressive with him anymore. And pls don't baby kim dan here, he is fully aware and went to that room knowing that jaekyung has his jinx. Is this chapter disappointing? Yes. Is jaekyung changing? Yes. Will the future chapters be more satisfying? Maybe? We don't know.
lets just agree to disagree with this topic. and no, i am not babying Dan. while Dan is in the conversation, I am more focused on Jaekyoung on this one. he could've atleast ASK and thats so enough for me. it just disappointing because I was expecting a twinge of difference but maybe thats on me for even expecting.
Jaekyung inviting him on his room is already a consent omfg dan knew what the text meant and went in. Jaekyung literally asked him sxx thru chat and Dan agreed by going in. And don't tell me that "a text is not a consent, he never said anything about szx" bs coz that's literally how they contact each other before every match jaekyung has and dan is aware that it's related to his jinx.

That text wasnt any form of question but a command. which is FINE idc about that. but if you want to connect whatever thats transpired these past chapters, a simple ask couldve made a resounding callback to all of that. he doesnt need to change overnight jfc i do not expect that. if you put it that way "him intiating the contract the way he would before" then might as well ignore the whole ass chapters of him reevaluating things and redemption.
i get that people are disappointed for this chapter but let's not forget this is his jinx and it's a BIG DEAL MATCH.
