So you read something you don't like to intentionally to hate and feel that negative feeling more, then rant about it? Welp kudos for being a self aware, you do you queen
But can we give JK some point for saying KD doesn't need to accept his apology? I feel like that's super rare, some tops in "redemption arc" didn't even consider that
how would i be able to comment on a book i haven’t read? do we all read things for the purpose of liking them solely? disliking and disagreeing with things are natural and shouldn’t be seen as a bad thing, especially when solid criticism falls behind it.
and no, we cant give him “points” for telling dan he doesn’t have to accept his apology. thats a given. apologies aren’t made to be accepted. they’re made to take accountability.

“hes changed! he apologized and is sweet and kind and caring and attentive”. in order to change, you need to step out of your selfish bubble and do things for the other person and also NOT do things because of the other person. you “holding back” for so long doesn’t mean you get a reward. its bare minimum. a “thanks” shouldn’t even be offered.
(also note for those who keep asking “why read it then?” so i can hate to my fullest potential. i cant hate on something i haven’t read/watched/seen.)
