Seems how she fear him and couldn't help but only force himself to be liked in the end. It's quite tragic, as it's somewhat leave a bad after taste. (￣∇￣") But I like the segs ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
she said it herself the monster treats her like his own personal toy. he was constantly messing with her reality and traumatized her to the point of suicide. even if he didn't mean to, its hard for me to view it as anything else when it literally drove her insane lol
If he is an omnipresent being like he appears to be there is no way to escape him in the first place
So what he was trying is to be liked and find the best timeline where he have her in his gasps (￣∇￣") after all I never seen him enjoy toying with her rather he was trying to be gentle at most whenever she was there. And somehow I saw how he petity her situation from running away from him, and that part what he wants to change right?
Cause he wanted her to like him by herself instead of brainwashing her and turning her into a robot to love him. The part where she cannot escape him is cause she cannot hide from a being that posses omnipresence, cause they can see everything (like he did) every timeline every place
definitely wouldn't be able to escape unfortunately, which makes it another reason for her willingness to believe his lie even after discovering the truth. she knows its helpless to fight so she'd rather just accept this make-believe because atleast she wouldn't be constantly losing her sanity worrying about it
I think the worst thing abt cosmic horror stories like this is that at the end, no matter if she managed to escape his grasp or not. she's still going to be all by herself, she has nobody except for the god-like entity that treats her like a toy :( And she ended up accepting whatever he told her because she knows this would be the least terrifying option
