I mean I would say that most people probably don't know what abusive relationships are like and honestly that's a good thing. Like I've never been in one myself, but my father was like this to my mom so I've seen/been in it before, but if they have never been around it or in it then no they wouldn't know what it's like. Some of yall don’t understand emotional and abusive relationships, and it shows. Not to mention empathy. The writing isn’t the best, but some of you need to stfu about certain things. Mako was abused an manipulated—he feels as though he needs to be with that mf (I forgot his name, fuckin bitch) because that’s how the abusive relationship progressed. His bf’s on and off behavior is WHY he is this way, it’s literally a tactic from abusers. He’s not being stupid to be stupid, the relationship has literally been twisted in a way that Mako is dependent on his bf for that companionship. And THAT is why the abusive bf’s tactics WORKED.
