Long ass paragraph incoming

The story is actually really good.
I honestly don’t get the hate , yes, it has similarities to I Will Become the Matriarch in This Life, but welcome to the world of fiction. A lot of royal manhwa share elements, take inspiration from each other, or have similar themes while being able to still make it different.
Even if both FLs have big hair and are smart, they’re completely different characters.

This FL is from another world, a teenager stuck in a child’s body, and has been abused her whole life. She literally never learned how to trust people. That’s why her biggest “red flag” is how naturally she uses others without considering their feelings ,or maybe she just doesn’t care, because that’s how she survived. She takes huge risks and handles things totally differently from Tia.

Tia is super strategic, focused, and always had one clear goal, so she knew exactly how to act. Andd held good people close. She’s the definition of a future ruler.

But this FL? She’s more like a hired assassin. She’ll use you if she needs to, help you only when it benefits her, and is always on guard, ready to attack. And honestly yes, she would’ve died twice already if Ash and Patrick hadn’t stepped in.
Deep down she is not a bad person, just a kid who grew up with no love and doesn’t know how to act like a kid since she never got the chance to.
Still, despite all her flaws, her goal is good. She genuinely wants to save the realm, and the wild part is that she actually has the right traits to rule a kingdom that’s on the verge of collapse. She’s sharp, adaptable, ruthless when needed, and she understands what real survival looks like.

This story is going to focus on action and the FL’s growth, not romance. And yeah, I understand people wanting to know who the ML is ,curiosity is normal. But it’s frustrating that some readers seem to be here only to see something romantic happen.

Likee she still has deep trust issues, she has no real friends, and the only reason she’s even doing all of this is because of her grandfather , the first person who showed her real care without judgment. She still has so much to learn and so much growing to do. She gotta learn to trust, and especially be open with her emotions, as she just bottles things up and never talks. I wish that if there will ever be a ml, he’s going to be a good and honest man who doesn’t misjudge fl and helps her be more open with herself.

And honestly? The story itself is wonderful. It’s not boring, it doesn’t drag with filler chapters, the art is great, and the lore is written well enough that you actually want to keep reading and uncover more about the world. Sure, it might bore some people because it’s not for everyone , and that’s okay. But please don’t criticize it before actually reading everything. So many complaints come from shallow assumptions instead of understanding the story’s depth and direction

You may call this a hot take but I'd go as far as to say this was written as good as if not better than "I Will Become The Matriarch". I prefer how there is a lot more struggle here and this tangible conspiracy and mystery, where I Will Become The Matriarch is a bit too streamlined sometimes (imo). It's more focused on business and economy where here it's mainly politics and character-focused.

What has always bothered me about IWBTM is how bad apples stay bad apples. So I really appreciate that characters like Oleg and to an extent his father get redemption and can self-reflect here. As you said Tracy carries a lot of - and I don't mean to trash that manhwa either, it's just not this golden standard people pretend it is if you ask me. Comparing the two isn't nonesense but in the end they're telling a different story and have different goals in mind, even if they look similar.

As you said Tracy carries a lot of gabbage which makes her more grey, where Tia is more headstrong and more of an ideal "good" FL if you ask me - which caters to a different audience too*

PLEASEEE YES. It’s honestly so mainstream in the best way, and just like you said, I really struggled with IWTBM. Not because of Tia herself, but because the whole thing followed that classic manhwa structure,if anything, this one feels more interesting and alive in comparison.
The action scenes here are so well done, and the FL isn’t “bad” the way some people claim. You actually have to understand her to understand her decisions, her mindset, and why she acts the way she does. She isn’t diminished by the men around her. She’s portrayed in such a realistic, human way, even with the fantasy elements layered in.

I also found IWTBM’s entire setting kind of boring, especially the political/economic parts most readers skip. This series, on the other hand, makes everything easier to follow and way more engaging. And honestly? I hate the church in this story, which just proves how effectively the artist portrays the corruption, if I’m this annoyed, the storytelling is doing its job.
What I love most is the attention to detail. None of the characters feel dull, every single one is unique in their own way. And the narrative stays centered on the FL,her growth, her struggles, her perspective, instead of getting overly distracted by the MLs. It feels stronger and more meaningful that way.

I’m just glad there are other readers who seriously read these stories and actually understand them. It feels nice bringing out these opinions and having people agree and introduce other opinions relevant to the story.

Tysm for answering me btw(⌒▽⌒) so nice to see that I’m not the only one

Yea, idk why but so many ppl on here expect their MC to be this superhuman type of good and rightous to the point where it overwrites their whole personality. As you said, Tracy's, let's call it, "vibes" are pretty obvious so I don't understand why some people were twisting their own panties over her throwing Ash into prison.
The justice guy said it himself, that even if Ash did commit a crime (which there was no proof of anyway) he's a child. So you can't blame it on bad writing either, that's just the characters acting in character.

    Anyway, high five

Bruh fr, I saw people in the comments LEGIT screaming over text about how the FL was a villain and how bad she was because she chained a child to the floor and treated Ash badly. Even when people explained the reason, they still responded angrily, saying it didn’t matter since Ash was trying to survive. And these are the same people who keep asking who the ML is and when the romance is coming ,like what? Are we even reading the same story? Sorry if I keep complaining, but the Ash situation honestly is wild
