I am someone soooo well versed on omegaverse, I’ve been reading omegaverse for the past 10 years to the point where I’d consider myself an omegaverse vet! This story is not NEARLY as toxic as some of the omegaverse concepts that I have read over the years. This is a story of how subgenders had affected a relationship and the self esteem of one another. Even the scene that ppl complain was SA, was more dub-con than non-con. With omegaverse, ppl forget that heats/ruts can influence not only the person enduring it but 100% the person/ppl who interact(s) with them. So when Juhyeok had his heat, Suah was influenced by his heat to get lost in the sauce. Juhyeok also was suffering the effects of his heat, wanted to overdose on his suppressants so Suah offered to help him, but again a heat can make the lines blur on consent for both parties. I genuinely do not think that scene alone makes him a rapist, it does mean that he needs to work on self control but this is only the beginning (so he has time to grow).
