I usually play the “find the demisexual” game while I read bl, I very very very rarely comment my thoughts but yeah. I do watch for it, seems authors write people demisexual without realizing it

There's no asexual or demisexual relationship here.
Instead, we have two heterosexual men who suddenly discover they feel homosexual attraction to each other and slowly learn to cope with the situation. It's obvious they're shocked by their feelings and sexual attraction, and it will take them some time to move beyond kissing and onto the next stage. Both of them have avoidant natures, so it'll simply take them longer.
