Ik about stylized animals and art in general but it gets to a point where you ignore the anatomy too much and it ends up looking like something else entirely, he’s obviously still a cat. Ik we all start somewhere and it takes time to properly process anatomy. Sorry if this seemed rude.
I agree. I like that they tried, but they need to work on it a bit more... also, the striping isn't consistent
I think they should have made him a lion because it is much more easier to draw because lions have minimal markings, only a few barley visible rosettes on grown lions/lionesses the only thing they’d need to worry about is the mane and they seem ok with drawing hair. But they picked one of the most difficult big cats out of the bunch to draw, I hope to see them improve.
They definitely need to work on large cat anatomy. I may be saying this bc I draw animals more than human/humanoids but the tiger looks more like a mountain lion painted to look like a tiger, the paws are way to long causing them to look like human feet, the dew claw is to blended in with the paws and the reason he looks like a mountain lion and not tiger is because of his head and body shape.
I just wanted to type this bc I hate when someone makes a manga dealing with the characters being/ turning into animals and they don’t want to put the time in to study the animals anatomy to make it look like said animal.
