I knew it, I KNEW IT! I’ve commented my theories back in the past!
The original Mugo (Noble Mugo) is a human from the Joseon era. He loved someone deeply (Joseon Jaheon) but they were forcefully separated. Mugo got trapped in a jar by the head family. They turned him into a god through a dark ritual so he could grant them endless wealth/power/health/wishes. His love, Joseon Jaheon, was murdered so that the head family could regain total control over Mugo (because Joseon Jaheon was a distraction just like how modern Jaheon is a distraction so they’re set to kill him as well). That heartbreak literally broke, shattered and split Mugo into different parts of himself!
The aristocratic, learned, conservative Mugo - Sir Mugo. The sinful, reserved, protective Mugo - Lord Mugo. The insatiable, innocent, playful child within Mugo - Monster Mugo.
When they finally got reunited with their one true love, reincarnated into Jaheon, the different parts of OG/Noble Mugo started to emerge more often as they spent more time with Jaheon. Before that, Sir Mugo (glasses) seemed to have been the more prominent materialization. But with Jaheon’s arrival, the other Mugo’s got to “come out and play” as well. When Lord and Monster had a threesome with Jaheon, we could see that they “glitched”. One second Lord was behind Jaheon and Monster in front of him and the next they switched places. This showed the beginning of the amalgamation of the Mugo’s. It got stronger with each new trauma that was induced to Jaheon. Him getting assaulted by the mountain spirits. Him getting kidnapped by that man with the van. This last kidnap/assault was the culmination that this time did not break/shatter/split Mugo, but instead merged them all back into the original one - Noble Mugo!

That heartbreak literally broke (and split) Mugo into different parts of him! The noble, aristocratic, learned Mugo (Sir). The perverted, tough, protective Mugo (Lord). The hungry, innocent child within Mugo (Monster). Now that they finally found their love reincarnated into Jaheon, they all merged back into one - the noble OG Mugo!
